Labor Day – Sept 1, 2025 (Monday)

Kick off the year with one last summer outing: the beach, Maggie Daley’s Play Garden, or a lakefront picnic.

Indigenous Peoples’ Day – Oct 13, 2025 (Monday)

Visit the Field Museum or the Mitchell Museum of the American Indian in Evanston. At home, read picture books by Indigenous authors.

Veterans Day – Nov 11, 2025 (Tuesday)
