About Anna Treesara
Anna was born and raised in Chicago’s Avondale neighborhood and always had a passion for education. She began her career as a high school English teacher, teaching both abroad in Thailand and at Noble Network of Charter Schools in Chicago for several years. However, she soon realized that her impact could extend far beyond the classroom walls. She transitioned into workforce development, working with CPS seniors to secure internship opportunities before finally launching Tutoring Tree in 2019.
Anna started Tutoring Tree to create personalized, lifelong learning opportunities that go beyond the traditional classroom setting. She believes that education should be flexible, accessible, and tailored to each student's needs. In addition to tutoring, her business has grown to include career coaching, where she specializes in helping teachers transition out of the classroom into new career paths.
Anna currently lives in Humboldt Park/West Bucktown with her husband Kyle, their dog Addison, and their son Liam. When she’s not working, she enjoys reading with her book club, Brunchin’ Bookworms, and staying active on The 606.

At Tutoring Tree, Anna prioritizes quality by ensuring that every tutor on her team has extensive teaching and/or tutoring experience. As a Chicago native and CPS graduate, she understands the Chicago education system and what families need to navigate it successfully.
