Accessibility Statement

Friend of a Mom wants every mom to be able to find our guides, events and community, including moms who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.

 

Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, across friendofamom.com. We review the site regularly and fix issues as we find them.

 

What we have done

We have added image descriptions, checked color contrast, organized pages with clear headings, labeled our form fields, and made sure the site can be used with a keyboard alone.

 

Where we are still working

Some content, like older downloadable PDFs, embedded social media feeds and third party tools, may not be fully accessible yet. If you need any guide or planner in a different format, just ask and we will send it to you.
