About Annie Pecoraro
Annie grew up in the suburbs and has lived in Chicago for the past 20 years. With a background in market research and consumer insights, she’s always loved using data and creative storytelling to solve problems. After college, she volunteered with Americorps and has remained passionate about social justice and intentional community ever since.
When Annie unexpectedly lost her job and found out she was pregnant shortly after, she was thrown into a time of big questions and big changes. That’s when she discovered Le Village - a coworking space where working parents can stay close to their little ones. The mission of Le Village struck a chord, and when her job search stalled, Annie decided to create a new path forward. She opened the Lakeview location of Le Village so she could stay close to her daughter, work in a space that valued parenthood, and help build a village for other families just like hers.
About Le Village in Lakeview
Le Village is a coworking space with onsite childcare, but it’s so much more than that. Parents work onsite while their little ones are cared for in curriculum-based, age-appropriate classrooms. It’s a space designed around connection—where parents and children eat lunch together daily, where breastfeeding can happen whenever needed, and where everyone is in the same life stage. It’s a community where you’re never the only one juggling work and naps.
