About Erika
When Erika became a mom, she felt an immediate pull to slow down and find more purpose in her work. “My corporate girly time had come to an end,” she says — and instead of returning to that world, she followed her heart toward photography. Having always loved the process of being photographed — from finding the perfect location to feeling seen through the final images — she now brings that same energy and empathy to every client she works with.
Her mission is simple but powerful: to capture who you really are in this moment, as you are right now. Whether that’s the quiet joy of holding your newborn or the messy, magical in-between moments of motherhood, Erika’s approach is warm, authentic, and deeply personal.

Based in Wicker Park, EEBauer Photography offers Fresh48 sessions, in-home newborn sessions, studio portraits, and event photography, all designed to help families preserve their most meaningful milestones.
Before launching her studio, Erika spent a year photographing over 425 newborns at Northwestern Medicine Prentice Women’s Hospital — a season that shaped her signature style of gentle, heartfelt storytelling.
Her home studio provides a cozy, welcoming space where parents can relax while she works her magic behind the camera.
