Looking for a fun and easy way to explore the city with little ones while connecting with other local moms? Join Friend of a Mom for a stroller walk at the beautiful Obama Presidential Center campus in Hyde Park.

We’ll meet near the main grounds of the Obama Presidential Center (under the main arch) at 8:30am before setting off for a leisurely walk through the surrounding gardens and outdoor spaces. Along the way, we’ll stop at the playground so kids can run, climb, and play while parents have a chance to connect. We’ll wrap up our morning and you're welcome to visit to the library and additional community spaces nearby.

This is a relaxed, family-friendly gathering designed for parents, babies, toddlers, and young children. Whether you’re pushing a stroller, chasing a toddler, or simply looking to meet other families, we’d love to have you join us.
